The Results

Countdown soon recorded 10% to 50% growth across the target categories after our merchandising intervention, compared with the previous year’s corresponding quarters. 

There was a visible improvement in customer-ready standards and, as a consequence, customers became more aware of the categories. The general merchandise product sales results caught the attention of Countdown leadership. Our team completed 100% of its relays on time and in full, and all our reports were done on time.
